Workers’ Compensation

Workers' Compensation (QME)

I am a licensed psychologist (CA PSY23340) and panel-qualified Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) through the California Workers' Compensation Appeals Board. I provide independent psychological evaluations to help resolve disputed claims. My evaluations address the full range of psychological and legal issues that arise in workers' compensation proceedings — including diagnosis, causation, apportionment, treatment necessity, work capacity, permanent and stationary status, and future medical care — and I am prepared to offer expert opinions on any psychological question the case requires.

My reports are thorough, clearly written, and designed to give all parties a comprehensive, well-supported expert opinion.

Evaluation Locations

I conduct evaluations at office locations throughout Southern California, including:

Los Angeles | Santa Fe Springs | Signal Hill | Orange | Moreno Valley | Murrieta | Santa Ana | Ontario | San Bernardino | El Monte

A Note on Telehealth QME Evaluations

California Workers' Compensation Appeals Board regulations permit QME evaluations to be conducted via telehealth, and my workers' compensation evaluations are typically conducted this way. In-person evaluations in Southern California can be arranged when scheduling allows. In practice, the modality does not compromise the rigor of the evaluation. The same clinical interview, the same validated assessment framework, and the same standards for a comprehensive written opinion apply regardless of format. Applicants often appreciate the convenience and lack of a commute. What ultimately matters is the quality of the report — and that I take seriously.
